How one H.E.R.O. started a Revolution!
In 2008, after seeing the rise of school bullying in national headlines and other disturbing issues facing our youth, Marc Wilkes aka Omega-Man decided to tackle these matters head on. Marc started a bully prevention school assembly in Lakeland, FL by creating a one of a kind presentation called “Omega-Man & Friends.” A comic book superhero school presentation, an image that children look up to and mimic.
He tackles issues head on, such as bullying, negative peer pressure, low self-esteem, etc. via high-energy assemblies where students witness firsthand feats of strength accompanied by life lessons in character development.
The excitement and influence of Omega-Man & friends have created incredible demand in the public school system across the Nation.
In just 14+ years the Omegaman and Friends school assembly presentation has performed in over 8,500 schools nationwide, spoken in front of over 1.9 million students across the Nation. This message has now grown into a widespread national movement.
The Start of A Revolution!
Hundreds of principals share with us each year that they would love to host an Omega-Man Assembly if they had the finances to do so. Many schools in our nation have had their budgets cut and money provided to schools for bully prevention programs such as ours have been impacted financially.
A principal once said after performing an assembly at his school “Why aren’t you performing in every school?” The sad answer to that question is that funding provided to schools for prevention programs such as ours has been cut from their budgets. This has stopped our forward progress in getting into thousands of schools per year.
At this point Marc recognizes the immediate need to capitalize on the current momentum to propel OMEGA-MAN & Friends forward. The proper steps have been taken to create a strategic plan to move into select markets and advance the organization.
The need for this content is great! To impact more schools, students and communities. Marc decided to launch “The HERO Revolution Charity” (Helping Everyone Respect Others).
The definition of “Revolution” means (from the Latin revolutio, "a turn around")
Through the HERO Revolution we want to TURN the bullying statistic around to ensure children; teens and adults, live in a safe and nurturing environment. We will provide training, information, support and advice to children, parents, schools, businesses and communities to enable them to gain knowledge and develop the confidence and skills to challenge abuse and bullying in all of its forms.
This 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity will provide the financial resources to eliminate occurrences of bullying among children and adolescents in and out of the school settings through prevention and intervention methods and education programs in communities.

It is our time to impact our community together. We can’t sit back and wish things would get better. We need to put action with our words. There is a need to bring a bully prevention message to our youth in these extreme times. Our youth are faced with a wide–range of distractions and pitfalls in achieving their DREAMS.
In the last few years, many schools in our nation are not financially able to host a bully prevention school assembly. This is why we are looking for local & national support to provide the young people of America a proven anti-bullying and character-building program.
By donating to the H.E.R.O. Revolution Charity you are helping to get aid to our schools to empower students to understand, recognize, and say NO to bullying, violence, and harassment by giving them the tools to transform their lives and the lives of their peers.
In the next 2-3 years our goal is to be in 1000 schools a year and in 4-6 years at 2000 schools a year, which will put us in front of over 850,000+ students in one school year.
